"The Many Faces of Adoption in Today's World." The Third International Conference on Adoption Research (ICAR3) will take place in Leiden, the Netherlands, from July 11 to 15, 2010. AdoptUsKids 2010 National Workgroup: "Working Effectively with African American Foster, Adoptive and Kinship Families, Organizations and Communities to Improve Permanency Outcomes for African American Children in Foster Care." Tara will participate in a dialogue with adoption professionals committed to finding strategies to address the needs of the disproportionately high numbers of African American children desiring permanency through adoption. This conference is being sponsored by the U.S. Children's Bureau.
